Spring Internships
2022 Internships may be in-person, hybrid or remote, depending on the opportunity, and are subject to change. As a condition of employment, the Academy Foundation will require all in-person or hybrid-work interns to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19. Reasonable accommodations will be considered.
The Foundation will offer paid, part-time internships to students who are currently enrolled in a college/university in the Greater Los Angeles Area (counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura) and Semester in LA programs ONLY.

Interns must commit to working 13 consecutive weeks: (12) at 25 hrs and (one) at 20 hrs.
Internships will take place April 4 - July 1, 2022
Development Categories
CHILDREN'S PROGRAMMING
Site: Network, cable
Activities: Overview of development and production of animated and live action children's programs. Review of scripts and process of selling ideas to the networks and cable.
Desirable background: Literature, Arts, Communications, Children's Entertainment and Education
Open to all class levels
SCRIPTED
Site: Studio or production company
Activities: Observe and participate in the evaluation of scripted program ideas and literary material, selection of writers and oversight of script development.
Desirable background: Creative Writing, Literature, Theatre Arts, Liberal Arts, Communications
Open to all class levels
UNSCRIPTED TELEVISION
Site: Production company or studio
Activities: Assist in development of unscripted programs. Work with production company and/or network programming staff in conception and execution of programs.
Desirable background: Organizational and people skills. Knowledge and understanding of unscripted programs.
