Foster Forward Initiative
2022 Internships may be in-person, hybrid or remote, depending on the opportunity, and are subject to change. As a condition of employment, the Academy Foundation will require all in-person or hybrid-work interns to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19. Reasonable accommodations will be considered.
The Foundation's Foster Forward initiative provides three paid summer internships for transition age and former foster youth interested in exploring careers in entertainment. Funded in part by an endowment created by Dick Wolf's Wolf Family Foundation, these experiential learning opportunities give undergraduate and graduate college students in the Greater Los Angeles area (counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura) extraordinary access to entertainment media professionals. Open to all class levels.
Finalist notifications will be made in mid-March
Internships will take place June 20 - August 12, 2022
NOTE: The production category may take place mid-July - mid-September.
